About 

Jay is a carbon-based life form who has been around for thirty years. Born in Pennsylvania, raised in both Virginia and Minnesota, Jay now calls the east coast home. She wrote her first story around the age of eight and although she does not recall the plot she does know it featured talking otters. She now dabbles in various genres, particularly horror, paranormal suspense, and "soft" science fiction. She is not above writing about elves and dragons when she's in a fantastical mood.

 

 

 

Jay pursues creative outlets beyond composing. She draws, paints, assembles collages and salvages old furniture. She loves the beach but generally only after sunset due to extreme sun sensitivity. Certain friends insist she's slowly turning into a vampire. Jay would be all right with this development, provided she is not turning into the sparkly kind. She is also lactose intolerant but loves ice cream, and currently lives with her adopted Australian cattle dog mix named Orion, a Siamese cat named Ladyboy Shamus, and a veritible horde of foster kittens. She is aware that she is on the path to becoming a crazy old woman with fifty cats. She accepts this fate.
